Массовое шествие приурочено к I Уральскому конгрессу по здоровому образу жизни.Более пяти тысяч уральцев приняли участие в мероприятиях конгресса, который прошёл в Екатеринбурге 22-23 мая. Сбор участников шествия «За здоровый образ жизни». состоялся у здания Правительства области. Представители медицинских учреждений, учебных заведений и общественных организаций выстраивались в ярко оформленные колонны.
